About Ehesas
Ehesas is an online store for handcrafted products, presented under the tagline "exclusively artisanal." Its US storefront sells spiritual and devotional items made by Indian artisans, including temple-inspired jewelry, kadas and bracelets, healing crystals, crystal trees, yantras and framed wall art. Prices on the US store are shown in US dollars.
Selling handcrafted, culturally specific products to an international audience means the store has to do more than list items. It needs to explain the meaning behind each category, show the craftsmanship clearly, and build trust with buyers who cannot see the products in person. Ackrolix's portfolio lists Ehesas (US) as an online store for exclusive and authentic handcrafted products built on Shopify.

What Ackrolix delivered
Ackrolix's project list records the Ehesas US storefront as a Shopify online store in the handcrafted products category. The store's footer also identifies Shopify as the platform.
The walkthrough below describes the live store as it appears today. Seasonal banners and featured collections change throughout the year, and the site may have evolved since Ackrolix's engagement, so the focus is on the structure visible on the current homepage.
- Client: Ehesas (US), a handcrafted products store.
- Category: exclusive and authentic handcrafted products.
- Platform: Shopify.
- Live site: us.ehesas.com.

A homepage that sets the cultural context
An announcement bar at the top rotates seasonal messages. The header carries the Ehesas logo and a menu built around how customers shop this range: Shop, Offers, Diwali Special Combo, Divine Wall Art, Handcrafted Treasures, Our Story and Track Your Order. Search, account and cart icons sit on the right.
The hero is a slideshow with previous, next and pause controls and a slide counter. The slide shown promotes a collection of framed wealth frames, photographed in warm gold light on marble.
Below the hero, a centered section titled "Inspired by India's Sacred Temples" describes the range as spiritual treasures handcrafted by master artisans. This short introduction gives international visitors the context they need before they reach the product sections. The tone is descriptive rather than promotional, which suits products with religious and cultural significance.

Shopping by collection
A Shop By Collection row comes next, set on a soft cream background. Six square tiles lead to collections such as seasonal festival specials, Trident Kada, Temple Jewellery, Healing Crystals and Karungali. Each tile uses a styled product photo with a consistent warm, festive look and a simple label underneath.
The row gives first-time visitors a quick overview of the store's breadth, while returning customers can jump straight to the collection they want. Because festival collections sit in the same row as permanent categories, the store can bring seasonal products forward without redesigning the page.

05 / The project
Product rows for each category
Much of the homepage is made up of product rows, each with its own heading: festival combos, New Arrivals, Best Sellers, a named collection, Crystal Trees, crystals by type, Yantras and Shop By Zodiac. This lets visitors browse several parts of the catalog without leaving the homepage.
The Yantras row shows the standard product card. Each card has a large framed product photo, a Sale badge where applicable, the product name, star ratings and review counts where available, and the price in US dollars. A View All button below the row links to the full collection.
The same photographic style runs across every row, with products set against warm, temple-inspired backdrops, which keeps a long homepage feeling consistent.

Packaging, authenticity and brand values
A two-column section titled "Crafted with Care. Delivered with Authenticity." explains what arrives with an order. The copy describes the signature keepsake box packaging and states that each piece comes with an authenticity certificate. A large photo shows bracelets, a branded pouch, a gift box and printed care cards, with a Shop Now button beside the text.
This kind of section matters for handcrafted goods sold online. It shows the unboxing experience and addresses authenticity, two questions buyers often have when ordering artisan products from overseas.
A row of icon tiles covering topics such as natural gemstones, certification, secure payment and worldwide shipping follows, then testimonials and a Why Ehesas? section. Further down, a band of four illustrated value statements covers supporting artisans and their communities, handcrafted quality, personal customer service and an eco-friendly approach. The page closes with blog posts about artisans, an email sign-up for member benefits, and a footer with quick links, contact details and payment icons.

Values that explain the brand
The four value statements use simple brown line icons on a cream band: The Multiplier Effect, Handcrafted, Customer Service with Personal Touch, and Eco-Friendly and Sustainable. Each has a short description beneath it.
This section turns the brand's purpose into scannable points, which helps visitors understand why the products are sourced from artisans before they reach the blog posts and footer.
Shopify is a practical base for a store like this. It supports selling in multiple currencies, collections that can be featured and rearranged on the homepage, and a checkout that accepts a range of payment methods, several of which appear as icons in the footer. For a brand selling handcrafted goods to international customers, that lets the team concentrate on curation, photography and storytelling, and rotate festival collections onto the homepage as the calendar changes.
