About Upakarma
Upakarma sells wellness products online under the Upakarma Ayurveda name. Products visible on the live store include a pure shilajit resin and Badam Rogan, offered in single packs and multi-pack options.
Ackrolix's portfolio lists Upakarma as a health and wellness products eCommerce store built on Shopify. In this category, shoppers often want to understand a product before adding it to the cart, so the storefront needs to combine product listings with explanation, video and clear pack choices.
Wellness products are also frequently bought again. That makes quantity controls, pack options and a quick path to the cart useful on the homepage itself, not only on individual product pages.

What Ackrolix delivered
The engagement is recorded as Shopify eCommerce for wellness products. Shopify supplies the hosted storefront, product catalog, cart and checkout. That leaves the store's design to focus on how products, variants and supporting content are presented.
The live store shows several patterns that suit a focused wellness catalog:
- Product cards with quantity steppers and an Add to cart button, so items can be added without leaving the page.
- Pack-size options presented as variants on the product card.
- A video carousel that links short clips to the products they feature.
- A single-product spotlight and a benefits panel for the brand's main product.

Shop While Watching
One homepage section on the live store, titled Shop While Watching, is a horizontal carousel of short vertical videos. Some clips show presenters speaking to camera in a clinic-style setting, while others are product or lifestyle shots.
Each video is paired with a small product card showing the product image, a shortened product name and the price, plus a quick-view icon. One card is expanded to show pack options (Pack of 1 and Pack of 2) directly under the video. Previous and next arrows sit below the carousel.
This format brings short-form video into the store itself. A visitor can watch a clip and move straight to the product it features, rather than leaving for a social platform and searching for it later. Above the carousel, the bottom of a product row shows the same quantity stepper and Add to cart pattern used across the store.

Featured product of the day
The next section is headed Featured Product, with a smaller of the day line beneath it. It places a single product card on a wide, warm-toned panel: the shilajit resin jar and box on a yellow background, the product name, a star rating line, the price, a pack selector and a quantity stepper beside a brown Add to cart button.
Giving one product its own panel works well for a brand with a small range and a clear lead product. It keeps the purchase controls in view while the surrounding space carries the brand's color palette. A darker color block on the left side of the panel frames the card and separates this section from the carousel above.
The pack selector on this card mirrors the pack options shown in the video carousel, so the same choice appears in a consistent form across the page.

Why Shopify suits a wellness brand
Shopify gives a direct-to-consumer brand a managed checkout, variant handling for pack sizes, and a theme system that supports video, product cards and custom sections on the homepage. For a brand that relies on explaining its products, those sections can be arranged and updated by the store team as campaigns change.
Because the catalog is small, each product can receive more space and supporting content than it would in a large marketplace listing. The live store uses that space for video, a featured product panel and a benefits list, while keeping Add to cart close to every product mention.

Planning a similar wellness store
Brands planning a Shopify store for wellness products can start by deciding how each product will be explained: through short videos, a featured product panel, a list of key points, or all three. It also helps to define pack sizes and bundles as variants early, so they appear consistently on every product card.
Content planning matters as much as layout here. Video clips, product photography and short benefit statements need to be ready before launch so each section has something useful to show, and any product statements should be reviewed by the brand for accuracy.
Ackrolix can help plan the page structure, product presentation and Shopify setup for a store of this kind.
