About Rosen Cakes
Rosen Cakes is an online bakery and cake shop. Its live store trades under the Rose N Cakes name with the tagline "Make Someone Smile Today," and it sells cakes alongside flowers, chocolates, soft toys and gift combinations for birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions.
Because many of these orders are gifts sent to someone else, the store has to help a visitor find a suitable item quickly, understand what is included, and move to checkout without friction. Ackrolix's portfolio lists Rosen Cakes as a cake and bakery eCommerce project built on WordPress.

What Ackrolix delivered
Ackrolix's project list records this engagement as an online bakery and cake shop on WordPress, in the cake and bakery eCommerce category. The aim of a project like this is a store the business can run day to day: adding products, updating prices and occasions, and taking orders online.
The sections below walk through the live store as it appears today. The site may have changed since Ackrolix's engagement, so the descriptions focus on what the current pages show rather than on which team built each element.
- Client: Rosen Cakes, an online bakery and cake shop.
- Category: cake and bakery eCommerce.
- Platform: WordPress.

A homepage organized around occasions
The top of the homepage is built for navigation. A slim utility bar carries links to Home, Checkout, Login and Register along with phone and email contact details. Below it sit the logo, a site-wide search box with a Go button, and a cart icon.
The main menu runs across a beige band and reflects how people shop for gifts: Sweets to Abroad, International, Mothers Day, Flowers, Cakes, Combos, Chocolates, Teddy, By Occasion and Other Products. A visitor who knows the occasion or the type of gift can jump straight to the matching category.
Under the menu, a full-width slider shows a decorated celebration cake with the message "Birthday, Christening or any other special occasion. Celebrate it with a cake!" Arrows on both sides let visitors step through the slides.
The result is a homepage that answers three questions within the first screen: what the shop sells, how to find a specific type of gift, and where to search, sign in or check out. Contact details stay visible at the very top, which helps shoppers who prefer to call or email before placing an order for a special date.

Product grids that show what each gift includes
Directly below the slider, a script-style heading introduces the store's delivery message, and the first product grid begins. Products sit in four-column rows of bordered cards, each with a square product photo, the product name and its price.
The names are descriptive, such as rose bouquets paired with chocolates, gift hampers, anniversary combinations and cake-and-teddy sets. Combined with a clear photo, this lets a shopper understand what arrives in the box before opening the product page. For a buyer comparing a few similar bouquets or hampers, seeing the price on the card also saves clicks and makes it easy to shortlist options within a budget.
The consistent card size keeps the grid easy to scan on a wide screen, and the layout repeats further down the page so visitors can keep browsing without returning to the menu.

A featured product with full details
Mid-page, a Featured Product block gives one item more room. A tab list on the left names several highlighted products. Selecting a name shows that product's description in the center, listing the items included in the gift, along with its price, a product code, a progress bar and a Details button. A large product photo sits on the right.
This format suits gift bundles, where the value lies in the combination of items. Listing the contents line by line answers the question most gift buyers have before they commit. Because the block switches between several products in the same space, the homepage can spotlight more than one bundle without growing longer.

More products, reviews and support links
An Our Products section follows with another four-column grid of bouquets, cake combinations, teddy bears and chocolate arrangements, again showing a photo, name and price for each item.
Further down, the homepage includes a testimonials carousel and a dark footer. The footer groups contact details, customer service links (About Us, Contact Us, Return Policy, Sitemap and How do I place an order?), account links, and policy pages covering shipping and delivery, privacy, terms, disclaimers, cancellation and refunds, and delivery cities. Payment method icons, social links and a Help button complete the page.
Placing a link titled How do I place an order? beside the delivery cities list and refund terms keeps practical questions answerable from any page, which is useful for first-time buyers sending a gift to another city.

Why WordPress suits an online cake shop
WordPress lets a small business manage its own catalog, pages and policies from a familiar dashboard. For a gift and bakery store whose range shifts with festivals and occasions, that control matters: new combinations, seasonal categories such as Mothers Day, and policy updates can be published without rebuilding the site.
If you are planning a similar store, start by mapping how your customers search, whether by occasion, product type or destination, and build the menu around that. Clear product names, itemized bundle descriptions and visible delivery and refund policies help gift buyers order with confidence.
