About Cbazaar and the project
Cbazaar is an online store for Indian fashion and ethnic wear. Ackrolix's portfolio describes it as an online fashion and ethnic clothing shop for women, men and kids.
The live site covers sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, Indo-western sets, jewelry, menswear and kidswear, with a strong focus on weddings and festive occasions. Text on the homepage traces the brand back to 1998, when it was originally called Chennai Bazaar, and highlights made-to-measure clothing as part of its offer.
Ackrolix's portfolio lists Cbazaar as a custom eCommerce development project rather than a store on a hosted platform.
A fashion catalog of this size has to support many ways of shopping at once: by garment type, by occasion, by wedding event, by budget and by size. A custom build gives the business full control over how those paths are structured and how products are merchandised across them. The sections below look at how the live store puts that structure in front of shoppers.

A header built for a large catalog
The top bar summarizes the store's main promises: a free-shipping threshold, the size of the design range and made-to-measure tailoring. Below it, the header combines the Cbazaar logo, a wide search field, a currency selector, sign-in, a shortlist and the cart.
The main menu runs across the full width: Wedding, Diwali, Plus-Size, Rair, Lehenga, Salwar Kameez, Saree, Indowestern Sets, Jewellery, Men and Kids. It mixes occasion-based entries with garment types, so a visitor shopping for a festival and a visitor looking for a specific garment both have a direct starting point.
The hero is a festive carousel. The slide captured here shows a Diwali campaign with a group of models in ethnic wear, a delivery-timing message and quick-link chips for Salwar Kameez, Lehengas and Indo-Western.

Wedding outfits, organized by garment
Under a short-video strip titled "Gram-Worthy Looks," a row of four icons links to a discount sale, express shipping, new arrivals and ready-made outfits. These give quick access to the shopping modes many visitors care about most: price, speed and ready-to-wear.
Next comes "Indian Wedding Outfits," a row of five tall image cards for Lehengas, Sarees, Salwar Kameez, Sherwanis and Kurta Pyjama. Women's and men's wedding wear sit side by side, which suits families shopping for several people attending the same event.
The "Gram-Worthy Looks" strip above this row uses tall video-style cards with view counters and the Cbazaar watermark. Each card features a single outfit, such as an embroidered anarkali suit, with a small product thumbnail and the outfit name, so social-style content links straight back to a product.

Accessories for the complete look
Further down, the page offers a budget-led sarees block and a set of Rair collection tiles before moving to accessories. "Shaadi Essentials" sits on a soft pink panel and shows six square tiles: Earrings, Neck Jewellery, Head Jewellery, Hand Jewellery, Bags & Clutches and Footwear.
Below it, "Festive Highlights" gives four text buttons for Plus Size, Blouse, Pre-draped Sarees and Best Seller. These are lightweight links, but they surface sub-ranges that would otherwise be buried inside larger categories. Together, the two blocks help shoppers finish an outfit without going back to the main menu.
The sarees block uses one tall feature image with a large price-band label, while the Rair tiles use soft beige backgrounds and serif type for lehengas, salwar kameez and sarees. The change in styling helps each collection read as its own edit.

Shopping by wedding event
Indian weddings span several events, each with its own dress code. "Pre Wedding Festivities" reflects this with a six-tile grid on a terracotta background: Wedding, Engagement, Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet and Cocktail. Each tile shows a model in an outfit suited to that event, with the event name in large serif type.
This is one of the clearest examples of merchandising by occasion rather than by product type. A guest who knows only that they need something for a sangeet can start here instead of browsing every lehenga and kurta.

Curated themes and store assurances
"Themes - Our Personalized Selections" is a carousel of curated edits with a View All link. The visible cards cover custom-size Indian wedding outfits, black-tie wedding guest outfits, cocktail dresses for weddings, fast-delivery wedding outfits and fusion looks for a wedding reception. Each theme answers a specific shopper need, such as fit, dress code or delivery deadline.
Below the themes, the page shows a value-guarantee banner, a customer review carousel and an Instagram link, followed by three assurances: a wide selection, made-to-measure tailoring and on-time delivery for festive occasions. A long-form brand text block with category keyword links and a row of payment options, including cards, net banking, wallets, EMI and cash on delivery, close the page before the footer.

Why a custom build suits this catalog
Cbazaar's homepage cuts the same catalog in many ways: garment type, occasion, wedding event, budget, size, accessory type and curated theme. Custom development gives the business full control over these structures, the product data behind them and the way each landing page is assembled.
It also leaves room for fashion-specific needs such as made-to-measure options and festive delivery messaging, which the live site features prominently. For a brand planning a similar store, the key early decision is which shopping paths matter most to customers, because those paths shape the data model, navigation and homepage.
